Saloio’s sweet rice

This is a very old recipe from Portugal. Sweet rice is mandatory on feast days. Hence the origin of the name sweet rice, which refers to those people who are at all parties.

Ingredients

4 – cups of rice;
1 – cinnamon stick;
– Pure coconut milk (enough to give the point);
– Fennel, cinnamon powder and sugar to taste;

Modod of preparation

Cook rice with coconut milk, cinnamon stick, fennel and sugar. Let it well-cooked potato-like. povelhe with cinnamon powder.
